G A B R I E L
Gabriel is a well-written, well-played, compelling character that has been around since the older versions of our fine home, CUG. Just take a look around the Wanted threads, you'll see that plot whore Gabe's face is plastered on a large chunk of those pages as well as a few threads around the site. Gabe is also the founder of our first big plot on CUG, Fight Club, which you can check out here. We can't forget to mention Gabe's mama though, Mer is a huge asset to the CUG family. Despite running several successful sites of her own and staffing on other sites, Mer manages to make time for our humble abode. She's contributed more to this site than we can even appropriately thank her for and still Gabe is one of the most active characters on the site. Congrats, Mer! <3

URBAN DWELLERSUrban dwellers are those who choose to reside within the confines of a city or established town with some form of structure. That structure can be anything from economy (businesses and such) to government. They are relatively civilized and usually have some sense of community going on. OUTLANDERSOutlanders are mostly the Gypsies and Bedouin of the apocalypse, choosing to live outside the confines of a city or town. Some disapprove of going back to how things once were, some refuse the sort of order imposed in a city, some like a challenge, some just downright love the open air and some are using this as an excuse to scour the earth, hoping to find more survivors. Outlanders have a strong sense of community and depend on one another, no matter how small or large their settlement. VULTURESThe Vultures are very solitary people, they rarely run in groups and when they do, the group is excessively small and they're quick to stab each other in the back. These are people who can't make it with "normal" humans, they have their own ideas of how to take advantage of this new world, seeing the apocalyptic wastelands as their own personal playgrounds rather than things that need rebuilding. These are the last people that would want to go back to how things were. They're self-serving to a fault, called Vultures due to their scavenging ways. Vultures swoop into the ruins of destroyed towns and cities, pillaging for what little supplies they can find left over. Though they do deliver supplies to Utopia and the Outlanders, it benefits them in many ways, since they trade it for anything from a safe place to sleep for a few nights to a bundle of supplies they can use themselves. If laws still existed, most of the shit Vultures pull would be illegal. Or...they'd be locked up in a mental institution. TRIBALSTribals are essentially rural dwellers who have shrugged off many modern ways of living, and returned to a simpler hunter-gatherer mentality. This is not to say that they are all peace, love and happiness types. While some tribes are peaceful, isolationist and self-sufficient, farming and occasionally trading with nearby towns for hard to obtain commodities, others are violent and antagonistic, resorting to raiding and slaving outright. Tribals often look upon the urban dwellers and vultures with disdain, viewing their way of life as "scavenging the dying corpse of the old world." Tribals are often healthier and in better physical condition than any other faction. For the list of existing tribes, see: Group Index
